Turbo Boost Car Giveaway Surprises a Sunnyslope Teacher

We want to thank everybody that participated in our 2018 Turbo Boost Car Giveaway. We had over 30 nominations! On November 30th, 2018, we gave away a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee to a teacher at Sunnyslope School. Mrs. Patricia Wharton was repeatedly nominated by several people. She was nominated for her dedication to her students, parents, Sunnyslope School, and the Sunnyslope community. Mrs. Wharton has an astonishing list of accomplishments some include: raising over $30,000 in donations and getting supplies for teachers, she runs parent outreach programs in her community, teaches English as a second language, and she is currently getting her Masters Degree in Education from NAU. The icing on the cake is while doing all of this, she is also getting National Board Certified. Patricia definitely leads by example, she is a great role model not only to her friends but to her community. We would like to thank Mrs. Wharton for making this world a better place and congratulations on the car!
