Warranty Terms

3 Year / 36,000 Mile “Peace of Mind” Warranty

  1. NAPA Auto Care Coverage (First 2 Years / 24,000 Miles)
    The first 2 years or 24,000 miles of warranty coverage are provided under the terms of the “NAPA Auto Care Peace of Mind Warranty” as outlined in your Auto Repair Contract.
  2. Extended Local Warranty (Next 12 Months / 12,000 Miles)
    The additional 12 month or 12,000 mile warranty is a local warranty extended only to the original purchaser. It is not transferable to any subsequent vehicle owner during the warranty term.

    This limited warranty is provided exclusively by 3A Automotive Service, the facility named on the original repair invoice that performed the services/repairs. This warranty is not honored by any facility not owned by 3A Automotive Service.

  3. Wear Items Not Covered
    The following wear items are not covered under this warranty:

    • Air filters
    • Cabin filters
    • Transmission filters
    • Fuel filters
    • Brake pads
    • Brake shoes
    • Spark plugs
    • Fluids
    • Tires
  4. Services with Shorter Maintenance Intervals Not Covered
    Services and adjustments with recommended service intervals shorter than the warranty coverage period are not covered, including but not limited to:

    • Clutch adjustments
    • Valve adjustments
    • Brake adjustments
    • Alignments
    • Tire rotations
    • Fluid changes
    • Fluid flushes
  5. Warranty Terms & Conditions
    3A Automotive Service warrants that repairs and services performed at our location will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. Coverage is measured from the date of the first repair and the odometer reading shown on the original repair invoice.

    This warranty applies only under normal, non-commercial vehicle use and requires reasonable and necessary maintenance during the warranty period.

    Warranty repair costs shall not exceed the cost of the original repair or service. If a defect in materials or workmanship is found within the warranty period, 3A Automotive Service reserves the right to perform corrective service and replace defective warranted parts at no charge.

  6. Warranty Repair Extensions
    The buyer has the right to warranty service during the coverage period. The warranty will be extended by the number of whole days the vehicle is out of service due to warranty repairs.

    If a defect exists within the warranty period, the warranty will remain valid until the defect is properly repaired.

  7. What Is Not Covered
    You are responsible for paying for any non-warranty service requested at the same time warranty service is performed.

    This warranty does not apply if the vehicle has been damaged due to:

    • Abnormal use
    • Misuse
    • Neglect
    • Accident
    • Alteration
    • Tampering (by anyone other than 3A Automotive Service or its subsidiaries)

    3A Automotive Service employees or agents are not authorized to modify this warranty or make additional promises beyond what is stated herein.

    THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (including additional expenses resulting from faulty repairs or services).

  8. Proof of Service Required
    You must retain and present the original repair invoice when seeking service under this warranty.
